
“No one knew her name so they would say, ‘That enchilada lady is here. Who ordered?”
Debbie originally learned to cook Mexican Cuisine from friends and family but perfected her Mexican specialties after being featured on a television cooking segment for two years. She was able to use her love of cooking and creativity in order to share a new recipe with her television audience weekly.
Many of these recipes can be found in her latest cookbook, “Enchilada Lady Favorites”. The majority of recipes are easy to make with locally available ingredients.
Enchilada Lady uses only the freshest ingredients, many grown on her own farm or purchased from the local farmers market. Her success can be attributed to the fact that from the selection of ingredients, to the actual cooking and packaging all the way to the sales and delivery to customers , Debbie is personally involved. However, she does give her number one taste tester, husband David, a lot of credit, especially in tending to the garden. David's Chocolate Brown Farm Egg's will also be available at all Enchilada Lady locations! Spring 2011, David will have Cukoo Maran and Speck Lady, live chicks and fertile eggs for sale!
